Artist Kasheera Hickson became inspired, while learning the art of tarot, to reimagine the Rider-Waite deck in shades of Mahogany. With a goal to create more BIPOC representation within the tarot community, she created Mahogany Tarot. This deck acts as the mahogany twin to the traditional RWS deck by remaining true to the classic imagery that has made the original so timeless, while also offering a melanated perspective to the characters on the cards.
